WhatsApp Has a New Application for Windows, Download Here!

So far, users can access WhatsApp on a laptop or computer using the WhatsApp Desktop application. But secretly WhatsApp is preparing a new application for Windows that looks more beautiful.

Twitter user @ALumia_Italia reported details about this WhatsApp for Windows app. This application is made using the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) so it is compatible for Windows 10, Windows 11 and Xbox, as quoted from WABetaInfo, Wednesday (17/11/2021).

This new WhatsApp application has a different look to WhatsApp Desktop. The design is made semi-transparent with the dominance of white and gray.

This application also supports multi-device features, so it can be used independently without having to connect to a cellphone. Notifications of incoming messages will still be displayed even if the application is closed.

The good news is that the WhatsApp for Windows application can be downloaded via the Microsoft Store. This application is still in beta stage, so there are some features that are not yet available such as archives, stickers, status, and dark mode.

But the settings feature offered is quite complete, from notification settings to privacy. In the chat column there is also a new drawing pad feature that allows users to doodle directly on the screen.
